Survey Crew Chief - US Based

About the role

The Geomatics Division of Phasor Engineering is seeking a Survey Crew Chief for long-term opportunities in Canada and the United States for work on larger scale construction projects. This role involves performing daily field survey activities, communicating with various stakeholders, interpreting design drawings, and operating survey equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field survey activities including obtaining survey measurements, staking for infrastructure construction
• Communicate effectively and regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors and Client Field Representatives
• Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches and base maps
• Cookordinate field crew's daily activities and supervise, mentor and train survey assistants
• Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment; ATVs/UTVs/Argos, Tools and Materials
• Actively promote Phasor's Health, Safety and Environmental Program

Requirements

• Previous Survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys
• Valid Driver's License and maintain a "clean" driver's record
• Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering is preferred

Pay

Salary range: $75,000-$105,000 (excepted yearly earnings may vary)

Schedule is flexible: Options are: Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday
