Survey Crew Chief III
About the role
Work on construction sites from an open field to wooded areas with varying terrain. Compile notes, sketches and records of data obtained in the field. You'll need a solid knowledge and experience with the operation of all surveying equipment, including automatic level, Robotic total station, data collection and GPS work.
Responsibilities
- Retrace boundary lines and collect data for mapping and design
- Compile notes, sketches and records of data obtained in the field
- Operate surveying equipment such as automatic level, Robotic total station, data collection and GPS
- Provide client and internal contacts with good communication skills
- Work autonomously and complete workload without direct supervision
- Ensure established history of working safely in the field
- Travel overnight when needed
Qualifications
- 5+ consecutive years' work experience in Land Survey is required
- Good math background with solid knowledge and experience with electronic surveying instruments, field data collectors and GPS
- Valid drivers’ license required that meets company insurable standards
- Prompt, dependable and flexible are important components for success in this full-time position

Schedule
Our days begin at 7:00 a.m. and overtime may be needed to finish the day at the job site.
