What You'll Do
- Direct and lead field crew members through daily survey assignments, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-coordinated field operations in alignment with safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Perform record research, construction stakeout, boundary, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS
- Review legal documents, plans, and project materials to accurately plan and execute surveying projects and task goal establishment
- Create and verify field sketches and field computations related to traversing, map interpretation, and layout
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience required
- Strong knowledge of surveying practices, field procedures, and industry standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred; knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally with clients and the broader public
- Able to lift and carry equipment over uneven terrain and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required with the ability to travel short-term
- NSPS-CST Level II certification preferred; LSIT preferred
