Survey Crew Chief

Duties/Responsibilities

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensures crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Captures and coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Maintains accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.

Education/Experience

• A High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience conducting a variety of survey is required.
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.
• A valid driver’s license and being insurable are required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

Physical Requirements

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat.
