What you will do
- Plan, organize, and direct the survey crew to ensure work is completed within budget and to clients’ satisfaction.
- Perform a mix of office and field work on various projects such as residential subdivisions, educational facilities, and military installations.
- Perform types of surveys including ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, route surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking projects.
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of surveying experience, with Survey Crew Chief experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of land surveying principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of TDS, Trimble software, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and GPS equipment.
- Ability to organize field notes and execute field staking.
- Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
- A valid Washington State driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain clearance to work at local military installations.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
- Survey Crew Chief - $31.00 - $48.00 per hour.
- Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
