About the role
Arcadis seeks to hire a Survey Coordinator / CADD Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This position involves performing survey related calculations, producing survey plats for various high-level clients, preparing topographic base maps for engineering design team, conducting deed research, writing legal descriptions, and processing survey data.
Responsibilities
- Perform survey related calculations
- Produce survey plats for various high-level clients
- Prepare topographic base maps for engineering design team
- Conduct deed research and write legal descriptions
- Process survey data collected from field teams
- Input various deeds and plats and compare results with field evidence
- Prepare final mapping using ground run, GPS, photogrammetric, aerial and ground based scanning LiDAR data
- Create boundary, topographic, planimetric or design related deliverables
Requirements
- 1+ years relevant experience
- Experience working with survey field crews and production
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads software
- Strong understanding of surveying mathematics, data adjustments, property boundaries, surface modeling, analyzing quality of data, and processing of field data, including GPS
- Excellent CADD production skills with a keen eye for quality control and accuracy
- Ability to read and write detailed and accurate legal descriptions
- Ability to perform deed research, both online and at local jurisdictions
- Ability to deliver superior quality and accuracy in work demanded by high-level clients
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Acquired or interested in working towards relevant certifications (SIT, CST, etc.)
- Engaged and driven team player willing to learn new technologies
Qualifications & Experience
- Required Qualifications: 1 or more years relevant experience, experience working with survey field crews and production, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads software, strong understanding of surveying mathematics, data adjustments, property boundaries, surface modeling, analyzing quality of data, and processing of field data, including GPS, excellent CADD production skills with a keen eye for quality control and accuracy, ability to read and write detailed and accurate legal descriptions, ability to perform deed research, both online and at local jurisdictions, ability to deliver superior quality and accuracy in work demanded by high-level clients, strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, acquired or interested in working towards relevant certifications (SIT, CST, etc.), engaged and driven team player willing to learn new technologies
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bently OpenRoads, proficiency in developing plats and drawings using field data of total stations, GPS, & aerial, scanning equipment, SIT or career path in Surveying preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $42,400 - $63,600. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
