Survey CADD Technician

Responsibilities

  • Prepare survey drawings, plats, maps, and exhibits using Carlson, AutoCAD, or similar CADD software
  • Process and interpret field survey data to produce accurate and high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with licensed surveyors, engineers, and field crews throughout project execution
  • Assist with legal descriptions, survey reports, and project documentation
  • Organize and maintain survey data, drawings, and project files
  • Help identify and resolve data discrepancies while supporting efficient project delivery

Requirements

  • Two or more years of land surveying or survey CADD experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Carlson, or similar CADD software
  • Working knowledge of survey field procedures and construction stakeout
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to quality, continuous learning, and being a positive member of a team
