Survey CAD Technician – WA

About the role

This position entails office surveying tasks under the direction of a Project Surveyor. Basic responsibilities include interaction with clients and peers, field note reduction and drafting of survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience as a field or office technician with boundary, topographic, ALTA, GPS-RTK and construction surveys a plus. Field work may be required, including work out of town.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• This position requires you to perform physical labor outdoors including walking on uneven ground, standing for periods of time.
• Capable of recording accurate and precise notes.
• The successful candidate must have a valid WA driver’s license and be able to obtain a Flaggers card, and obtain military security access, railroad, and port access
• Willing to work out of town at times.
• Lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• L.S.I.T (Land Surveying in Training) certificate
• Experience researching state, county, and city land records.
• Technical survey hands-on experience.
• Detail oriented and takes a focused approach to work assignments.
• 1-year survey experience or equivalent survey trade school experience.
