Survey CAD Technician 2

About the role

We are looking for a Survey CAD Technician who possesses a deep understanding of surveying principles and CAD techniques. In this role, you will work independently on complex drafting tasks, create and edit intricate drawings, perform advanced calculations, and conduct comprehensive land survey research. You will ensure all CAD work meets the highest standards of precision and accuracy, and that drawings and maps accurately represent surveyed data while adhering to project specifications and industry standards. This role includes mentoring less experienced technicians, requiring excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit intricate CAD drawings
• Perform advanced calculations related to land surveying
• Conduct comprehensive land survey research
• Ensure all drawings and maps accurately represent surveyed data and adhere to project specifications and industry standards
• Mentor and assist less experienced CAD Technicians
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Read and interpret construction plans, procedures, and perform field calculations
• Stay updated on the latest CAD software and surveying technologies

Requirements

Pay

Minimum $22 per hour depending upon experience.
