Survey CAD Technician II
About the role
Supports office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables.
Reports to the Project Manager and performs technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry.
Increases land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by CAD drafting to support various surveying projects (basemapping, topography, utilities, as-builts), field to finish processing of field data files through Carlson Survey and/or Civil3D, carrying out initial QC of mapping products, coordinating with supervisor to produce CAD deliverables in client-specific or SAM standards.

Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
- Strong computer and technical skills
- AutoCAD experience is required; Civil3D and/or MicroStation is a plus
- Lidar extraction experience, particularly with TopoDOT, is a plus
Qualifications
Survey Technician position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
