Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop Security Operations Center personnel.
- Manage daily command center operations across all assigned shifts.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, intrusion detection, fire/life safety systems, and emergency notification platforms.
- Cook up emergency responses with on-site security personnel, law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and client representatives.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and operational disruptions.
- Maintain situational awareness of all client locations under the command center's responsibility.
- Review and approve incident reports, dispatch logs, and shift activity reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of communications, documentation, and response times.
- Ensure all incidents are documented in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Aid in investigations involving alarms, security breaches, workplace violence, theft, or other security incidents.
- Cook up business continuity and emergency response procedures during critical events.
- Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates to staff.
- Maintain compliance with company SOPs, client post orders, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee development.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology and process improvements.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and performance metrics.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive client and company information.
Responsibilities of a Surveillance Security Guard
- Tell tales of customer service like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
- Manage access control.
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
- Answer questions in person or by phone.
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass an extensive screening process.
- Have exceptional customer service skills.
- Be proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
- Have a valid security license or can obtain one.
- Have at least 3 -5 years of supervisor experience.
- Have 3- 5 years operation center experience.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $25.00 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Set schedule options: Full-Time (40 hours) 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
