Surveillance Operator - Swing Shift - Ful Time - Virginia

About the Role

At Live!, we pride ourselves on our exceptional people. Our Team Members are the foundation of our success and the most valuable part of the Live! brand. The Surveillance Operator is accountable for observing and protecting casino assets via CCTV.

Responsibilities

• Observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed-circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violations of state lottery and gaming commission regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Monitor areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Assist in training on CCTV equipment and alarms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in security and/or surveillance.
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to alcohol, cigarette, and cigar smoke.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity, as well as Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent vision and hearing.
• Grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Stand and walk 30% of the time.
