Responsibilities
- Observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, count room, and other designated areas.
- Record activities when appropriate and report observations to appropriate parties including state officials if necessary.
- Document all phone calls in the surveillance activities daily log.
- Monitor casino games, cage, slots and soft count rooms and property overall.
- Report on all company procedures, internal controls and gaming regulation violations.
- Conduct investigations (ensuring the protection of property assets) against claims of property loss, personal injury, team member misconduct, criminal activity and/or any incident or event which compromises the company’s policies and procedures, internal controls, state gaming regulations, team members or guests, as assigned by the Surveillance Supervisor.
- Plan, organize, and complete work timely.
- Take initiatives, show ownership, and go above and beyond to assist guests with their needs.
- Accept feedback and coaching from supervisors.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming license.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
- Complete all required company training.
Additional Requirements
- Have 20/20 or better vision with corrective lenses.
- Ability to differentiate between the different colored cheques, chips and bill straps.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to: personal computer, all CCTV equipment, joysticks, multiplayers, alarm systems, and listening device(s).
- Consistently monitor and observe.
- Possess the mathematical skills to calculate table games payouts utilizing formulas.
- Ability to effectively communicate using a telephone, two-way radio and computer.
- Possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, investigations, and promotions.
- Ability to sit and maintain mental concentration for significant/extended periods of time.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
