SURVEILLANCE OFFICER

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and recording all activity in the casino area.
• Recording observations in writing as required.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of credit procedures, cash transaction reports, company procedures, and regulatory regulations.
• Reporting irregularities, variances from procedures, and other issues to management immediately.
• Performing all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have and maintain excellent working knowledge of all casino games, internal control procedures, and departmental guidelines.
• Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
• Successfully complete the Surveillance Trainee period.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
• Normal hearing acuity is required.
• Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions is essential.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
• Standing 5% of the shift, walking 5% of the shift, and sitting 90% of the shift is necessary.
• Surveillance Team Members are not allowed to transfer to other departments within the casino.
• Must be able to obtain and retain the appropriate Indiana Gaming License.
