Responsibilities
- Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepare reports and logs.
- Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.
- Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.
- Makes recommendations and enforces state and federal regulations.
- Communicates with security and other departments using phones and radios.
- Follows policies to ensure safety and asset protection.
- Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.
- Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.
- Reports all incidents observed on shift to the Leadership.
- Complies with company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and encourages others to do the same.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a security, casino, or surveillance-related field is preferred.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.
- Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
- Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Must be able to see and remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
- Ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise reports.
- Must be able to operate the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
- Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to maintain extremely confidential information.
- Observe gaming tables and slot machines to ensure fair play and accurate payout.
- Review video footage to resolve disputes or investigate incidents.
- Coordinate with casino security staff and management when issues arise.
- Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal policies, and procedures.
- Respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Proficient in English verbal and written.
- Proficient with iOS devices.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.

- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
