Responsibilities
- Preparing and organizing the operating room for efficient surgeries
- Maintaining sterile fields and infection control standards
- Assisting surgeons with instruments and supplies
- Preparing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring operational readiness
- Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining accurate surgical documentation
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program and high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CST credential and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic techniques
