Job Summary
Are you a Certified Surgical Technologist who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys a balanced work-life? We are seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team at 7th AVE Surgery Center – Kearney, NE.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized, assembled, and functioning properly
- Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing sterile instruments, sutures, and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
- Identify and communicate any breaks in sterile field protocol immediately
- Handle specimens appropriately and prepare them for laboratory processing
- Clean, restock, and reset operating rooms between procedures
- Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
- Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered surgical environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient surgical flow
What You Bring
- Current Surgical Technology certification required
- Current Cardiac Life Support (CLS/BLS/ACLS as applicable) certification required
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology training program
- Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience
- PREFERRED: Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 15 pounds regularly
- Working in a surgical environment with exposure to standard healthcare-related risks, including bloodborne pathogens, surgical equipment, chemicals, and sharp instruments
