Surgical Technologist - PRN

About the Role

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures by preparing the operating suite, assisting with patient positioning and draping, passing instruments, and managing specimens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical environment with drapes, instruments, solutions, and supplies.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are in working order.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during procedures and monitor supplies.
• Handle and process specimens for laboratory delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or military training.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• Minimum 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification through recognized agencies, valid through sixty days of hire.
