Surgical Technologist - Part Time Days/Evenings Weekender

Role: Surgical Technologist Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during procedures, prepare sterile supplies, maintain aseptic techniques, verify surgical site, document specimens, monitor supplies, and participate in patient care activities including wound assessment and dressing changes. Support multidisciplinary treatment coordination, ensure safety protocols, and act as a preceptor for students. Qualifications & Skills: Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible under applicable laws. Graduate of a Specialty Training Program. Ability to perform in a clinical environment, follow policies, and participate in on-call rotations. Strong attention to detail, adherence to sterile procedures, and teamwork skills. Key Duties: Assist with surgical procedures, manage supplies, verify patient identification, handle specimens, and ensure safety and quality standards. Perform billing, participate in departmental rotations, and support emergency procedures. Additional duties include specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care.
