SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST OB, FH - LABOR & DELIVERY

About the role

Location: Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital facility. This is an on‑site position (0.9 FTE, 36 standard hours).

Job Summary: Assists the surgeon, the registered nurse, and the anesthesiologist in the care of patients in the Operating Room and/or Birthing Room.

Requirements

• Experience required: Clinical rotations provided by a surgical technologist program.
• Experience preferred: Formal externship or 1 year of experience.
• Education required: High school diploma or equivalent; post‑high school education, certification or diploma; completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course, or Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II program.
• Licensure required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent, to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Schedule

• Shift: 3 (1900–0730)
• Holidays: rotating
• Weekends: every third weekend
• On‑call required
• Standard hours: 36 per week (0.9 FTE)
