Surgical Technologist - Night Shift, L&D Birth Center

About the Role

This position supports women’s care, infants, and surgical procedures in a hospital setting, including units such as Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU. The role follows established standards and certifications to ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and contribute to safety and quality initiatives.
• Support surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, military training, or equivalent.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• At least 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or completion of an accredited program.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
