About the role
The Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures.

- Assist the surgeon and OR RN during surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within 6 months of start date.
- For positions located in New Hampshire: New Hampshire Med Tech License or NH EMT License with National Registry Certification.
- One year of experience preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $27.27 to $36.88 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
Experienced CSTs are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Eligible bonus candidates are Certified Surgical Technologists. Current MaineHealth employees are not eligible.
