Outpatient Surgery Center offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4 × 10-hour shifts; 3 × 10-hour shifts may be considered based on staffing needs).
Responsibilities
- Act as a member of the surgical team, primarily functioning in a scrubbing capacity; may assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite.
- Maintain aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite, respecting the dignity and privacy of the patient.
- Use and maintain specialized equipment and supplies specific to surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon to expedite the procedure.
- Utilize surgical instruments and knowledge of step-by-step sequences for surgical procedures.
- Assume shared responsibility for proper handling of surgical specimens.
- Assist in training and orientation of new staff.
- Follow CMS conditions of participation.
- Participate in room turnover and assist in Central Sterile.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or a program accepted by the Association of Surgical Technologists.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- BLS Certification upon hire.
- Currently registered with the New Hampshire Board of Registration for Medical Technicians.
