Surgical Technologist II - General Surgery

About the Role
The Surgical Technologist II at Maine Medical Center ensures all necessary elements are in place for surgical procedures. This role participates in the teaching of staff and students and meets all criteria for Surgical Technologist I.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for positions at MMC (preferred at SMHC)
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
- One year of experience required
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Surgical Technologist I role
Pay
The pay range for this position is $27.27 to $36.88 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
