Surgical Technologist Extern PRN

Introduction

The OR Scrub Tech/Surgical Technologist Extern PRN works as a collaborative member of the SPD and Surgical Services team, following established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing and packaging, disinfecting or sterilizing, and storing medical and surgical supplies and equipment, and distributing medical and surgical supplies from sterile processing areas to other areas within the facility or health care organization as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• BLS or BCLS from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 1+ year of healthcare experience (preferred)
