Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care before, during, and after surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to hospital standards.
- Prepare and manage surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of asepsis principles and AORN guidelines.
- Maintain clinical competence.
- Participate in resource management.
- Take call as needed.
- Maintain competencies in both the main OR and CVOR.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program or certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
