Surgical Technologist - CST
About the Role
Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room at Chelsea Hospital, where over 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually across gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
Responsibilities
- Utilize principles and practices of surgical asepsis in preparing surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field and pass instruments to surgeons within the sterile field.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon by demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and human anatomy and physiology.
Requirements
- Graduation from a certified surgical technologist program.
- Surgical Technologist Certification required within six months of employment.
- On-call requirement: must be within 45 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Pay
Full-time position with 72 hours per pay period (every two weeks).
