Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, preparing sterile fields, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and functional. Key Duties Include Preparing for surgeon-specific procedures with accuracy and efficiency.Setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile fields while optimizing resource use.Scrubbing on a variety of procedures, adapting to surgeon preferences, and performing routine and emergency tasks confidently.Anticipating intraoperative needs, managing unexpected events, and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.Mentoring staff and students, precepting, and sharing knowledge to improve team performance.Communicating effectively with team members, participating in quality improvement, and fostering a positive work environment.Available for on-call responsibilities outside regular hours, responding promptly as needed. Qualifications Include Certification in Surgical Technology and BLS within 30 days (AHA).Ability to perform a wide range of surgical procedures across specialties.Strong critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills.
