Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments, equipment, sterile solutions, and supplies before procedures.
- Help prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and ensuring the surgical site is properly prepped.
- Maintain a sterile field at all times and uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique to prevent infection.
- Anticipate the surgeon's needs, passing instruments and supplies efficiently and safely throughout the procedure.
- Assist with tasks such as holding retractors, cutting sutures, handling specimens, and applying dressings as directed.
- Participate in pre- and post-procedure counts, room turnover, cleaning, and restocking to keep cases running smoothly.
- Support our culture of safety, quality, and teamwork while providing age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Minimum of 1 year Surg Tech experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred experience in Total Joint procedures (hip, knee, and shoulder), Neuro Spine, robotic cases for General Surgery and OB, and cystoscopies.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a TB test.

- Knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Pay
$12,000 sign-on bonus for a 3-year commitment.
Schedule
5x8, Day (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), Monday - Friday.
