Surgical Technician - Operating Room

About the role
The Surgical Technologist (ST) is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies. The Surgical Technologist works as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate surgical procedures through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
- Work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical support personnel.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training and Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
- Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a hospital operating room (preferred).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $38.56 - $58.87 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
