Surgical Technician - Labor and Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Technician for the Labor and Delivery Unit to provide essential support during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure positive outcomes
• Assisting surgeons with sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program with active certification or equivalent military/public health training
• Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center, hospital, or federal agency (for grandfathered candidates)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Pay and schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, including some weekends
