About the role
We are seeking a Surgical Technician – Labor Delivery to provide direct patient care and support the surgical team during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon and team by supplying sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program with active certification or equivalent military/public health training with ongoing continuing education
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working in an operating room, ambulatory surgery center, or hospital setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
Schedule
- Part-time role with night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) and rotating weekends
