Responsibilities
- Performs duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team.
- Scrubbing on operative procedures.
- Obtaining and preparing instruments and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment.
- Prepares appropriate supplies and equipment based upon procedural and/or surgeon preference list.
- Checks equipment and instrumentation for proper function prior to procedure.
- Prepares room for next patient.
- Prepares instruments for decontamination.
- Maintains aseptic technique 100% of the time.
- Demonstrates proficiency in gowning and gloving.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS CPR certification.
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist training program including clinical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Surgical Technician.
- Certified by The Association of Surgical Technologists, The National Board of Surgical Technology, or The Surgical Assisting Liaison Council Certificate of Surgical Technology preferred.

Pay
$48 per hour.
Schedule
4-10 hour work schedule, with a rotating day off. Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm; Thursday 8am-6:30pm.
