About the role
The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room. Prepares and stocks the OR before and after surgery. Gather clean and sterile supplies. Sets sterile instrument fields. Maintains and monitors aseptic techniques. Assists with the orientation of new staff. Participates on departmental committees.

Requirements
- Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility.
- Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology.
- BLS Required.
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and understanding of medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Scrub Technician Certification.
- Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support Education.
