Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite
• Handle instruments intraoperatively
• Maintain the sterile field
• Evaluate changing conditions during surgical procedures and make appropriate responses
• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
• Act as a preceptor and engage with management and the education team on surgical technology curriculum

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience
• Maintain certification throughout employment to retain Senior status
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 90 days of hire
• Surgical Technologist Certified (CST) – NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery (TS‑C) NCCT – required upon hire

Schedule

• Full‑time position
• Variable shift
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend work as required
