Role Overview: A Surgical Technologist assists in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, handling instruments and equipment, and supporting the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Prepare sterile surgical environments with necessary tools and equipment.Assist during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.Handle, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.Monitor patient positioning and safety prior to and during procedures.Document surgical procedures, patient information, and used instruments accurately.Support post-operative recovery by transferring and monitoring patients. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.Certifications via national boards or military programs are accepted.Attention to detail, ability to work calmly under pressure, and strong team collaboration skills.
