Surgical Tech - CVOR CST

About the Role

Support cardiac and vascular surgeries in a dynamic operating room environment, assisting with a wide range of procedures while maintaining high aseptic standards and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVRR, TAVR, heart transplants, LVAD implantations, and minimally invasive valve replacements.
• Support vascular surgeries including AAA repairs, aneurysm repairs, endarterectomy, bypass, and ECMO procedures.
• Handle instrument processing, sterilization, and proper specimen handling with strict adherence to aseptic technique.
• Work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility, including working weekends and responding to holiday calls.
• Support adult and geriatric patients across multiple operating rooms, ensuring accurate specimen labeling and compliance with aseptic standards.

Requirements

• National certifications and BLS required.
• State licensure must be obtained if not already licensed.
• Experience in CVOR and vascular procedures is essential.
• Must be detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to patient care.
• Prepared to undergo background checks and comply with state regulations.
