Surgical Tech - CVOR

Location: Wichita, Kansas • Duration: 13 weeks • Start date: September 22, 2026

About the role

Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room by gathering, organizing, and sterilizing all surgical tools needed for each procedure. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with all required instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Sterilize and maintain surgical tools and equipment according to established protocols
• Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure a sterile field is maintained throughout the surgical process
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other preoperative preparations

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
• Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension)
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

Schedule

Four 10-hour day shifts per week.

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $1,694 (includes estimated weekly stipend of $894).
