About the Role
Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room by gathering, organizing, and sterilizing all surgical tools needed for procedures. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgical team during operations
- Ensure sterile field is maintained throughout procedures
- Respond promptly to the needs of surgeons and other operating room staff
Requirements
- Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension)
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,585
Estimated weekly stipend: $1,246
Schedule
13-week assignment
Start date: August 31, 2026
Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
