Surgical Supply Coordinator

About the role

Manage supplies across perioperative areas, ensure inventory levels are maintained, and collaborate with the Materials Management team on Department of Health (DOH) prep activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and restock supplies in perioperative areas
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in cost reduction
• Coordinate with the team on DOH preparation

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
• At least 2 years of hospital experience preferred in a similar field
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively, professionally, and effectively with nursing staff and physicians
• Complex decision-making skills to plan procedures and solve routine and unexpected problems related to patient care supplies and equipment maintenance
