Surgical Stepdown Nurse

Role: Part-time RN for the Surgical Stepdown unit on night shift. Responsibilities Provide high-acuity post-surgical care, including close patient monitoring.Manage complex IV therapies, pain control, and post-operative complications.Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.Educate patients and families about post-surgical care and recovery.Ensure safe transitions of care for patients. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) license.Experience in surgical or high-acuity care preferred.Strong clinical skills in IV therapy, pain management, and patient assessment.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
