Surgical Services Operations Coordinator

About the role

A registered professional nurse who is responsible for assisting the Patient Care Coordinator to increase the operational efficiency of Surgical Services.

Responsibilities

• Helps manage staff, equipment, and efficiency of rooms in the Operating Room.

Qualifications

• R.N. with current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana.
• Three years of Surgical Services experience preferred.
• B.S.N. and C.N.O.R. preferred.
• Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques which are central to the professional discipline of nursing.
• Human relation skills in communication.
• Ability to use initiative in decision making and independent judgement.

Required

• Participate in Surgical Services call schedule and flex hours.
