Surgical Services/CVOR Tech

Location: 1 Akron General Ave, Akron

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10 hours)
• On-Call Requirements:
  • 1–2 call shifts per week on weekdays from end of shift until 7:00 AM the next morning
  • 1 weekend call per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday)
  • 1 working shift on Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks (typically coordinated with weekend call)
  • May be rotated on holiday call schedule as needed

Responsibilities

• Scrub open heart and vascular procedures, including wired vascular cases

Requirements

• CVOR Certified Surgical Technician
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience; CVOR experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification
