Responsibilities
- Records and transmits information on all case cancellations accurately and contacts all necessary departments in a timely manner and adds cancelation charge when necessary.
- Meticulously prepares and performs patient charges accurately and within the established time frame set by the Business Office.
- Records and transmits information for add-ons timely and accurately and notifies appropriate departments, doctors, and doctor's offices.
- Accurately and timely enters post-operative data from operating room record into electronic system.
Requirements
- Associates Degree required, OR successful completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education
- Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience in a fast paced healthcare setting
- Previous experience with data entry into computer systems/databases to generate billing revenue
- PREFERRED - previous experience with Clinical billing/charging
- Must pass a medical terminology test with a minimum grade of 75%
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay
Pay Range: $19.89 - $31.85 / hour based on experience
Schedule
- Part-time 16 hours/week: 3:30pm-7:00pm with rotation of weekends (Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm and Sundays 7:00am-11:00am), holidays & other shifts as needed
