Surgical Pathologist, COM Pathology & Laboratory Medicine

Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time academic Surgical Pathologist to participate in surgical pathology subspecialty services.

Essential Functions

• Participation in surgical pathology case review and interpretation, with preparation of diagnostic pathology reports.
• Provision of consultations to other types of physicians regarding diagnoses and medical implications.
• Participation in on-call coverage.
• Participation in multidisciplinary conferences aligned with clinical service responsibilities.
• Teaches pathology residents, medical students, and fellows.
• Attends sectional/divisional/departmental meetings and educational events.
• Performs related duties based on departmental need.

Minimum Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Completion of four-year residency/training in Pathology.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio State Medical License.
• Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (considered but not required).
