Surgical Oncology Job Description
St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified, surgical oncology fellowship-trained surgical oncologist to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Practice within St. Elizabeth’s $140 million Cancer Center located on the Edgewood campus.
- Work as part of a collaborative team including surgeons, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses.
- Collaborate with medical & radiation oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, thoracic surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, precision medicine, etc.
- Manage surgical oncology patients, including those with hepatobiliary, pancreatic, robotics, and HIPEC cases.
- Utilize 4 da Vinci Xi robots at the Edgewood campus.
- Assist with surgical oncology practice call, which is 1:3 and focuses on new and established patients with no general surgery call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must have completed fellowship in surgical oncology.
- 5+ years of surgical oncology experience is ideal.
Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified in surgical oncology.
- Experience in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, robotics, and HIPEC.
- Experience with 4 da Vinci Xi robots.
