Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for set-up, decontamination, sterilization, cleaning, restocking, maintaining lab & procedural areas and ensuring equipment is ready for each patient.
• Provide positive customer service to patients by escorting, communicating, and prepping them for care by doctor.
• Review history and progress of treatment plans with patients.
• Administer oxygen & IV sedation as needed, take blood pressure.
• Take X-Rays, impressions, pour & prepare study models, coordinate lab cases.
• Record treatment information on patient’s charts, schedule appointments, and provide follow-up and post-op direction and instructions to patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Surgical Assisting program.
• Two years of Surgical Assisting experience required.
• Prosthodontics experience, including bone grafting & implants.
• Skilled in utilizing standard surgical office equipment including Autoclave, statim, model trimmer, Panoramic/CBCT, oxygen, laser, intra-oral camera, hand pieces, etc.
• CPR & First Aid Certified.
