Primary Responsibilities

• Surgical Assistance: Greet, seat, and prepare patients for procedures. Take and document vital signs, medical histories, and give post-op instructions. Provide patient education and answer questions with empathy and clarity.
• Radiology: Take digital radiographs, including CBCTs, when needed.
• Instrument and Operatory Maintenance: Sterilize and organize instruments and supplies. Clean and reset rooms between patients.
• Team Support: Communicate with the front office, billing, and other clinical staff for seamless patient flow. Support inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Compliance: Follow OSHA, CDC, and practice-specific infection control protocols at all times.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Dental Assistant Certification or Oral Surgery Assistant training (Preferred, but not required—training available).
• Prior dental, or surgical assisting experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!
• Comfort with patient care, aseptic technique, and EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
