Responsibilities

• Provide aid in functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient.
• Understand the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
• Ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure.
• Maintain constant vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification through NBSTA upon hire.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current Surgical and Sterile procedures that are unit/age specific.

Schedule

Minimum of 24 hours per month, Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 5:00p.
