Surgery Tech

About the role

The Surgical Technician assists the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently. The individual must possess skills and competencies necessary to provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric. This position will serve in the role as a surgical technician in the Operating Room, mainly assisting with surgical procedures, endoscopy procedures, dental procedures and assisting where needed in the capacity of a surgical technician.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently.
• Provides nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric.
• Mainly assists with surgical procedures, endoscopy procedures, dental procedures and assists where needed in the capacity of a surgical technician.

Requirements

• Completed OR or Surgery Tech certification.
• At least one full year of direct position related experience in an Operating Room.
